Topping the list is Brooklyn Cupcake. Located at 335 Union Ave. (between Maujer and Grand streets) in Williamsburg, this cupcake bakery is the highest-rated cupcake spot in New York City, boasting 4.5 stars out of 334 reviews on Yelp.
2. Molly’s Cupcakes
Next up is Molly’s Cupcakes, located at 228 Bleecker St. in the West Village. Yelpers give this location of the mini chain, which also has shops in Chicago and Iowa, 4.5 stars out of 1,637 reviews.
3. Butter Lane
Butter Lane, a cupcake bakery and cafe in the East Village, is another high-traffic go-to, with four stars out of 1,215 Yelp reviews. Head over to 123 E. Seventh St. (between First Avenue and Avenue A) to see for yourself.
