Tribeca boasts three dog parks, including Hudson River Park, where blue pavement paths cater specifically to colorblind dogs. Tribeca also scored well on vet options and services like grooming, training and daycare.
Dog owners in Battery Park will be grateful for outdoor dog runs with waterfront views and a higher percentage of dog-friendly apartments than other spots on the list.
Those willing to sacrifice the wealth of dog-centered services dotting lower Manhattan can look to Silver Lake on Staten Island, where they will be rewarded by quieter suburban spaces with off-leash dog parks. Owners and canines alike can appreciate the tree-lined and walkable streets the island offers.
Long Island City in Queens holds the honor of having the most densely packed dog parks, with four off-leash parks within roughly 10 blocks. The neighborhood has a number of dog-focused businesses for owners to spoil their pups or just buy essentials, and the waterfront location allows locals to admire views of Manhattan without the same crowded bustle.
