One of the many TV shows filmed in New York City is Gossip Girl. The teen series offers fans spectacular views of Manhattan homes, restaurants, hotels, and landmarks. The good news for viewers of The CW show is that the city is littered with Gossip Girl filming locations.

1. Stop by the New York Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue

Owned by Bart Bass, father to Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), the New York Palace Hotel pops up regularly in Gossip Girl.

In early episodes, it’s where Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) stays while her family’s penthouse is being redecorated. It’s also the place Chuck Bass calls home for a significant portion of the show. 

2. The Museum of the City of New York serves as the Constance Billard School for Girls 

For the fans of Gossip Girl who dreamed of going to a school on the Upper East Side just the characters on the show, visit the Museum of the City of New York.

The building’s courtyard is where Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) holds court with her minions.

3. Bethesda Terrace is the location for memorable moments on ‘Gossip Girl’

Central Park is a familiar sight during Gossip Girl’s six seasons. One of the park’s major landmarks that makes an appearance is the Bethesda Terrace. 

After Serena returns to the city in the pilot, she and Blair have a heart to heart at the Bethesda Terrace. Through tears, Blair reads Serena a letter she wrote when she mysteriously left the city for boarding school. 

In the same spot, another major moment in the series takes place. Chuck and Blair say their I Do’s in Gossip Girl Season 6 Episode 10: “New York, I Love You XOXO.” Surrounded by close family and friends, they tie the knot at the Bethesda Terrace. […]
